How to Back Up iPhone/iPad Photos to Mac/PC with Folder/Album Structure

With the Export Album/Folder feature in HashPhotos, you can easily and quickly back up iPhone/iPad photos to Mac/PC with folder/album structure.

Mac/PC and iPhone/iPad must be in the same network.
File sharing settings are related to computer security, so please proceed in a safe network.

Connect to the computer you shared in iPhone/iPad Files app.

  1. Open Files app on iPhone/iPad.
  2. Tap the (three dots) button on the top.
  3. Tap Connect to Server on the menu.

  4. Enter the computer name or IP address of the computer you shared in the Server field.

    When using computer name, add .local to the end of the name. ex) MyMac.local, MyPC.local

  5. Tap Connect button.

Make sure that the computer you connected to appears in the Shared section of the Files app's Browse screen, and that you can see its folders when you tap on it.

Export Album/Folder in HashPhotos

  1. Open the left sidebar.

  2. Touch and hold(Long press) the album or folder you want to export.

  3. Select Export Album/Folder from the menu.

  4. Select the computer you connected to in Browse > Shared.

  5. Select the destination folder, and then tap Open button.

Export All Albums/Folders

To export all folders/albums, tap the (three dots) button next to the Albums section title, and then select Export All Albums....
