Import a folder From Files PRO

Method 1

  1. Open the sidebar.
  2. Touch and hold the folder you want to import a folder(filesystem) into.
  3. Tap Import Folder...
  4. Choose a folder.
If there are subfolders(filesystem) in the folder(filesystem) chosen, they will be imported as albums or folders.

Method 2

  1. Tap the actions button on the bottom left of the thumbnails screen.
  2. Tap Add > Import Folder...
  3. Choose a folder to import.
If a folder(filesystem) is impoted into an album, all images and videos inside a folder(including subfolders) will be imported into the album.
Files cannot be imported into a folder.

When importing, metadata from companion XMP sidecar files — such as keywords and title — is imported automatically when available.
