Save to Files

Save photos and videos to a folder in the Files app. You can export multiple items at once.

  1. Open a photo in the viewer, or select photos in the thumbnails screen.
  2. Tap the actions button on the bottom toolbar.
  3. Tap Send > Save to Files.
  4. Choose a destination folder in the Files app.

For Live Photos, both the image and video components can be saved.

Depending on the Include when Transferring options in Settings > Privacy, exported photos may or may not include metadata.
