Sync
If you use iCloud Photos to sync photos across multiple devices, you can manually sync keywords, memos, ratings, timeline events, and smart albums in the System Library to your other devices.
The Local Library does not support sync.
On Main Device
The device where you add and manage keywords mainly.
- Open Settings > Sync.
- Tap Sync Service and choose the service you want to use.
- Tap Upload to upload sync data.
On Secondary Device
- Open Settings > Sync.
- Tap Sync Service and choose the same service as the main device.

Tap Download to download and sync data.
All information on the device will be overwritten with the downloaded data.
Sync Service
- iCloud
- Sync via iCloud. Requires iCloud Photos to be enabled.
- Dropbox
- Sync via Dropbox. Connect your account under Connected Accounts first.
- None
- Disable manual sync.
Actions
- Check Sync Data
- Compare local data with the remote sync file.
- Upload
- Upload local metadata to iCloud or Dropbox.
- Download / Sync
- Download remote metadata and replace local data. You will be asked to confirm before overwriting.
