Add Keywords
Keywords are managed in HashPhotos' own database and are available only in HashPhotos.
To use keywords in the iOS Photos app, you need to use the System Keyword feature.
If you use share functions in HashPhotos or transfer photos via HashPhotos Transfer, keywords will be written to the metadata(IPTC Keywords) of a photo.
(This depends on the sttings in HashPhotos Settings > Privacy)
Add or edit keywords for a photo
- Tap a keyword button (tag icon) in a viewer to add or edit keywords of the photo.
Add or replace keywords for multiple photos
- Select photos in the thumbnails screen.
- Tap a keyword button (tag icon) to add or replace keywords of selected photos.
Tip
- If you touch and hold a keyword button, recently added keywords and pinned keywords are displayed and you can apply them right away. You can also save frequently used sets of keywords and reuse them.
- Pressing the space bar twice while typing a keyword will autocomplete to the first keyword in the keyword list.
Add Album Names to Keywords
Add album names as keywords to selected photos — useful for finding photos by the albums they belong to.
- Select photos in the thumbnails screen.
- Tap the on the bottom toolbar.
- Tap Tools > Keywords > Add Album Names to Keywords.
