Security Settings
Open Settings > Security.
If you forget your passcode, it cannot be recovered.
Passcode
PRO Free: 4-digit numeric only.
- Turn Passcode On / Off
- Enable or disable the app passcode.
- Change Passcode
- Change your existing passcode.
- Require Passcode
- How soon a passcode is required again after unlocking.
- Use Passcode for App Launch
- Require the passcode when HashPhotos launches.
- Face ID / Touch ID / Optic ID
- Use biometric authentication instead of entering the passcode when available.
Private Album
Available when a passcode is set. Tap Private Album for options, or see Private Album.
- Hide Private Album
- Hide the Private Album section from the sidebar.
- Toggle by Gesture
- Triple-tap the sidebar to show or hide the Private Album section.
- Auto Lock
- Lock the private album automatically when leaving it.
- Always ask passcode
- Require the passcode every time you open the private album.
- Lock When Inactive
- Lock when the app becomes inactive.
- Lock with Shake Gesture
- Lock the private album when you shake the device.
- Menu Title / Sidebar Title
- Rename how the private album appears in menus and the sidebar.
- Fake Passcode
- Set a decoy passcode that shows a fake private album instead of your real one.
Private Data
When a passcode is set, manage private keywords, pinned keywords, and events from Security.
